The Centro de Ciencias Aplicadas y Desarrollo Tecnológico (CCADET) of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM)
 
 

invite researchers, technologists, professionals and students to attend the 1st International Congress  on Instrumentation and Applied Sciences ICIAS (Incorporating the 25th National Congress on Instrumentation)  to be held in

Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico from October 26 through October 29, 2010.


OBJECTIVES

To spread the activities and the results of research and development related to the application of science and engineering in the various fields of instrumentation, and to favor the exchange of knowledge and experiences among participants.

SYMPOSIA

ACTIVITIES

There will be a series of keynote presentations on current topics given by renowned Mexican and foreign specialists as well as simultaneous oral presentations and poster sessions of papers accepted by the Scientific-Technical Committee.

PAPER SUBMISSION

All abstracts must be submitted before March 31, 2010 (the deadline for the submission is May 30, 2010). If accepted, you must submit your full paper in .doc format no later than July 15 August 31, 2010. Full papers should not exceed 3 MB. No deadline extension will be granted. Finally, all submissions must be made on-line through the conference website.

Acceptance and presentation type (oral or poster) of papers will be determined by the Scientific-Technical Committee composed of recognized specialists in the aforementioned areas; they will notify via email the results of the reviewing process from May 30, 2010. ACCEPTED PAPERS (FINAL LIST)

"Both abstracts and extended abstracts must be written in English; however they can be presented either in English or Spanish during the congress".

CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS

Accepted full papers will be published by the conference organizing committee in the conference proceedings (ISBN 978-607-02-0840-9).

Congress Proceedings will be available online for registered authors only two weeks after the end of the congress.

Early registration must be made when submitting the full-paper no later than July 15 August 31, 2010, so that your full paper will be included in the proceedings.
